“I keep on finding what more can be added to my program of world peace, and this came out to be a very very essential feature, equally important.
If you don’t handle the body properly, it will be difficult for the programme of Transcendental Meditation to maintain the body so that the body is driven by higher states of consciousness.
This is as much as is necessary—just as food is necessary—is good.
Good nourishing food is necessary.
Good nourishing home is necessary.
Same way, good nourishing mother is necessary.
Now mother is becoming fashion… And what the slogan is: ‘Equal rights to women’. Put mothers at home. If you let them come home tired, then children have no relaxed mother at home. Every generation of children will be weaker and weaker nation.
Look to America! American civilization is an example of this. Every generation of children are weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker. And a lot of crime.
But fortunately I see, mothers of America waking up. They have woken up—some of them—even if it is countable, some of them, that ‘our children are not properly fed.’
When the mother also comes tired from activity, father also comes tired of activity, the children look to whom? Empty skies.
Every generation will always be weaker and weaker and weaker and weaker.”

… “Philadelphia was very very very good to me,” says Lynch.
Now he wants to return the favor to Philadelphia by giving the gift of “Transcendental Meditation.”
“Transcendental Meditation is not a religion. It’s not a cult. It’s a mental technique,” said Lynch, who runs a foundation in his name to teach TM.
He says it allows adults and kids to experience the deepest level of life.
“You’re given a mantra. The mantra you’re given in transcendental meditation is just like a law of nature. Designed for a specific purpose and that purpose is to turn the awareness from out out out 180 degrees to within within within. It’s easy and effortless it does not involve trying,” said Lynch.
And he says he wants to take that approach to Philly’s schools to stop violence, including some of the smallest behavior problems.
“Pretty books, painting the school room isn’t going to do a damn thing for this. You gotta get these kids diving in, transcending everyday,” he says. …”
