The military of any country can prevent terrorism by deploying a proven, advanced human resource-based military technology. Invincible Defense Technology (IDT) is a statistically-validated approach. Military field tests and 23 peer-reviewed studies show it quickly, effectively, and efficiently ends turmoil. This IDT approach to reducing stress and violence has been implemented by militaries. Experience shows that when IDT is used, defense is not based on guesswork, and lives are not risked.
I just received this record of an interview with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 2003 from my friend Margot Suettmann: Environment and Yogic Flying, Press Conference 7 May 2003
Question: Maharishi said last week that yogic flyers are not currently able to fly higher in the air because of stress in the world. At the same time Maharishi previously said it is possible to get enlightened even if the world is ignorant, that we can turn on the light in our house even if it is dark outside. Does this mean that there are degrees of enlightenment, that an individual can be more enlightened when the world is at peace than when the world is highly stressed?
Maharishi: “Atmospheric influence is quite an important area. We cannot eliminate the importance of environment. With regards to flying, it is an indication of the ability of the mind to instantly fulfill its desire. Huge body lifts up in the air and brought about, above the ground, by the thought force.
The flying sutra is just a projection of a thought from that settled mind, from where total natural law in silence is engaged in the fulfillment of thought. This is Vedic thought. Vedic thought means the thought based on total knowledge of natural law which we say, the Will of God. Almighty Will of God. Omniscient Will of God. Omniscient Will of God. A man may be here or there or there or there, there, any part of the world. But the Will of God is all pervading and through Transcendental Meditation and this sutras of the yogic flying technique, the conscious mind stirs that area from where the thought comes up – silence.
And the total natural law, total creativity of natural law, is immediately engaged in fulfilling the thought. That’s why the action principle, the principle of action is: “Yogastah kuru karmani.” These are the vedic words, that stationed in that silence within yourself, in that self-referral consciousness, perform action. So the formula for performing an action is, to get to that silent level of consciousness and from there you think, and the thought will engage the infinite organizing power of natural law and the thought will be quickly fulfilled.
So this is just an indication that those whose body lift up in the air, yogic flyers, they have the ability through their program. And for that we give credit to the teachers of the Vedic wisdom who gave us this little, little techniques where we can take our awareness to the source of thought, that the thought engages total natural law, infinite creativity of natural law, and the thought is fulfilled. This is how life has to be lived, without pressure of any tension or negativity. This is education. This is education. This is consciousness-based education.
You practice Transcendental Meditation and take the mind to that level of silence from where total natural law, infinite organizing power of natural law is ready to pick up your thought, and instant fulfillment of the thought takes place. Very simple. Absolutely very simple but equally suitable for everyone. This is what we say: “one period a day in the classrooms of the students” and the whole society will be so full of coherence, of harmony, that negativity will not be found in the atmosphere. Very great power of thought, with such simplicity. A perfect society is on the way to come up in the world and the whole world is going to be a world of cosmic behavior, cosmic intelligence, where total natural law will be experienced as functioning in daily life of everyone.
And for that, we have some kind of a sense of a few thousand people practicing this in a Group and harmony will radiate from that Group. Every part of the world will be infused with peace, happiness, all positivity, all positivity.
Because the process is so simple, because everyone wants to enjoy life, and because no one wants to suffer, all these qualities of life are in favor of a very beautiful quality of life rising in the world and that is our pride and that is our effort and that we rejoice.
It is our joy that a world of peace, prosperity, happiness, will be enjoyed in our world family and there will be no negativity, there will be no failure in life. There will be all positivity, all achievements, everything. Very beautiful, very beautiful world is going to come up. Very beautiful world is going to come up.”
Samantha Thomas grew up in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, in a family that valued personal growth and the development of consciousness. Throughout her life she has been able to maintain those values and now applies them in her current job; she is the executive director of DreamChange, a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 by New York Times best selling author John Perkins to help raise humanity’s consciousness and inspire more sustainable ways of living.
Samantha came to MUM because she believed that Consciousness-BasedSM education would support her own values. “Being at MUM and surrounded by people who were always interested in the deeper meaning of life was really helpful for my personal development,” she said. “It helped me become stronger in who I am and understand what’s important to me. My time at MUM and learning TM have unequivocally helped me understand the true meaning of raising consciousness.”
… “Sanskrit is a language that teaches you old traditions and values. It’s a language of the heart and cannot die,” says Sanskrit scholar Aswathanarayana Avadhani.
Many of Mattur’s young have gone abroad to study engineering or medicine and I ask if Sanskrit helps in developing a mindset that aids understanding other languages, including those used in computer sciences.
Shashank, who runs an IT solutions company in Bangalore, says: “Yes, there is a connect if you delve deep into Sanskrit. Those who have gone into Vedic mathematics [which dates back to a time in ancient India when Sanskrit was the main language used by scholars] have certainly got a logical mindset that helps in information technology.”
“I have learnt some Vedic maths that has helped me. Others use a calculator when I could just do all that without a calculator.”
“Chinese President Xi Jinping made yet another commitment to help economic growth in the developing world, announcing that China would be canceling the debts of the world’s least developed countries.
President Xi made the announcement while addressing a United Nations summit on global development goals. During his speech, he also pledged to establish a $2 billion fund dedicated to improving conditions in the most impoverished countries around the world.”
“The world is going through a historical process of accelerated evolution. The sunshine of peace, development and progress will be powerful enough to penetrate the clouds of war, poverty and backwardness,”
President Xi said.
