INTERNATIONAL AYURVEDA CONGRESS LONDON – 1-2 APRIL 2017

The Second International Ayurveda Congress will be held in the Novotel in Hammersmith, London on the weekend of 1-2 April 2017.

This follows the success of the first Congress in Roermond last year which was one of the largest events presenting Ayurveda outside India. It was attended by 500 health practitioners, researchers, policy makers and administrators from 52 countries around the world, including 100 Vaidyas from India, of whom nearly half stayed on after the Congress to take a one week training course in Maharishi AyurVeda.

The first Congress marked the close collaboration of three prominent organisations: the All India Ayurveda Congress based in New Delhi and headed by Padmabhushan Vaidya Devendra Triguna; the International Academy of Ayurveda based in Pune, India, chaired by Professor Dr Subhash Ranade; and the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation led by Dr Rainer Picha.

The London Congress will build on that collaboration to bring together leading Ayurvedic practitioners and researchers from around to the world to showcase scientifically verified solutions to current problems in individual and public health. It will offer a forum for researchers to present their latest innovative work in the various fields of Ayurveda.
